Frunnerz Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Frunnerz handles location, fitness, device and advertising-related information when you use the Android app.
1. Who we are
Frunnerz is provided by The QWorld Company (“The QWorld,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy applies to the Frunnerz Android application with package name com.theqworld.frunnerz.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers information handled through the Frunnerz Android app. It does not replace the privacy terms of Google, your device manufacturer, your mobile carrier, Google Play, or other independent services you choose to use.
Frunnerz is a fitness tracking application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency services.
3. Information Frunnerz handles
Location and route information
With your permission, Frunnerz may access precise or approximate location, GPS coordinates, timestamps, accuracy, speed and movement information to record an active outdoor workout and draw your route.
Fitness and activity information
Activity type, steps, distance, duration, pace, speed, estimated calories, workout status, goals, challenges, coins, levels and completed activity history.
App settings
Preferences such as onboarding state, selected activity, display choices, notification settings and other configuration needed for the app to function.
Third-party technical information
Google SDKs integrated into the app may process items such as IP address, device and app information, advertising or other identifiers, diagnostics, map interactions and ad interactions.
Information we do not require
- No Frunnerz account or sign-in is required.
- We do not require your name, email address, phone number or profile photo to track a workout.
- Frunnerz does not provide a The QWorld cloud-sync account for your workout history.
4. Android permissions

5. How information is used
Frunnerz uses information to:
- start, pause, resume, complete and save fitness activities;
- calculate or estimate steps, distance, duration, speed, pace and calories;
- draw your route on a map and display activity markers;
- show activity history, goals, challenges, rewards and progress;
- remember app settings and preferences;
- maintain app stability, diagnose failures and improve performance;
- display and measure advertising through Google Mobile Ads;
- protect the app and third-party services against fraud, abuse and security threats; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
6. Local storage and Android backup
Frunnerz stores your recorded routes, activity records, goals, history and preferences in local app storage on your Android device. The QWorld does not receive or maintain a Frunnerz cloud copy of that workout database through an app account.
Android backup notice: Depending on your Android version, device manufacturer, Google account and backup settings, Android may back up or restore some app data. Such device-level backup is controlled by Android or the applicable platform provider, not by a Frunnerz cloud account.
7. Third-party services
Frunnerz uses third-party SDKs that operate under their own privacy terms. Their data handling may vary based on your country, device settings, consent choices, app configuration and the services available on your device.
Google Maps SDK for Android
Frunnerz uses Google Maps to display maps and locally drawn workout routes. Google states that the Maps SDK for Android may automatically collect information such as device metadata, crash metrics, IP address, a unique identifier and map interaction information.
Google Play services and location services
Frunnerz uses Android and Google Play location capabilities to obtain device location during an active workout when you grant permission. Google and your device platform may independently process information necessary to provide those services.
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob
Frunnerz may display advertisements using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google and advertising partners may process device and app information, IP address, advertising or other identifiers, diagnostics, approximate location derived from IP, and ad views, clicks or interactions for ad delivery, frequency control, reporting, fraud prevention and, where permitted, personalization.

9. Retention and deletion
Locally stored Frunnerz information remains on your device until you delete an activity through available app controls, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Device backups may retain a copy according to your Android backup settings.
How to delete local Frunnerz data
- Delete individual activities using the available activity-history controls.
- Clear all app data through Android Settings → Apps → Frunnerz → Storage → Clear data (wording may vary by device).
- Uninstall Frunnerz from your device.
Clearing or uninstalling the app does not necessarily delete information independently processed by Google. Use your Google account, Android privacy, advertising and backup controls for information handled by Google services.
10. Security
Frunnerz uses Android application storage and platform security controls to help protect locally stored information. Access to sensitive permissions is requested through Android’s permission system.
No method of storage, device protection or electronic processing is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device with an appropriate screen lock and keeping Android and Frunnerz updated.
11. Your privacy choices
- Grant, limit or revoke location, physical activity and notification permissions in Android Settings.
- Choose approximate location where Android makes that option available, understanding that route accuracy may be reduced.
- Reset or delete your Android advertising identifier and manage ad privacy choices in device settings where available.
- Manage personalized advertising and Google privacy settings through your Google account.
- Control device backup through Android or Google backup settings.
- Delete locally stored Frunnerz information using the methods in Section 9.
12. Children’s privacy
Frunnerz is a general-audience fitness application and is not designed specifically for children. A parent or legal guardian should supervise a minor’s use of location and fitness tracking features.
If you believe a child has provided information to us in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, contact us so we can review the concern.
13. International processing
Third-party providers such as Google may process information on servers located in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable data-transfer safeguards.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Frunnerz features, SDKs, legal requirements or data practices change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and may provide an additional notice where appropriate.
